WHO WE ARE
Castlebar Stingers Ice&Inline Hockey Club operates the “castlebarstingershockeyclub.ie” website.
When we talk about “Castlebar Stingers” “we”, "us", “our” or “the club” in this policy, we are talking about Castlebar Stingers Ice&Inline Hockey Club. Castlebar Stingers fully respects your right to privacy and we are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. For the purpose of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018 (the “Act”), the data controller is Castlebar Stingers whose registered office is Kilmacrade, Breaghwy, Castlebar, Co.Mayo, F23VF22, Ireland.
The Club uses databases for its membership data: Spond Team app and website together with Spond Club Solution website (”Spond” or the “service”) provided by Spond AS is currently used for members registrations and subscriptions.

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) covers our treatment of your personal information that we gather when you are using or services or when you contact us in any manner. We gather various types of information, including information that identifies you as an individual (“Personal Information”) as explained in more detail below.
WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
We receive and store information that you provide directly to us. For example, Personal data may include (but is not limited to): name, age, contact details including email, postal address and telephone numbers, (and of course you may choose to share other relevant information with us).
It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

Communicating club information and updates
Sharing data with officials, coaches, volunteers to deliver training sessions or participate in events
Sharing data with Leagues, Divisional Associations, IHI to deliver the sport of ice and inline hockey.
In the case of processing children’s information under the age of 18, written consent from parent/guardian.

IS PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT ME SECURE?
We use Spond Team app and website together with Spond Club Solution website (”Spond” or the “Service”) provided by Spond AS for users that register as Castlebar Stinger's members on our website. We use "Spond" as our data processor to store the personal information, the user provides in their member profile.
All members can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time.
We use appropriate technical, organisational and administrative security measures to protect any information we hold in our records from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
While Castlebar Stingers takes all due care in ensuring the privacy and integrity of the information that you provide to us, we recognise that no data transmission over the internet can be 100% guaranteed as secure. The possibility exists that this information could be unlawfully observed by a third party while in transit over the internet. Castlebar Stingers accepts no liability should this occur.
HOW LONG WILL WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR?
We will store your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes that it was obtained.
